Aaron Sayers, our 2014 ride beneficiary

Aaron Sayers,40, is a Barre native that was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer less than 6 months ago around Christmas time. The father of six boys, he and his wife Malinda have already had to deal with hardship when they lost their home and all its contents in a flood on the night of their wedding in 2011. In the months following his diagnosis Aaron spent much of the time in the hospital dealing with infection and severe pain. His goal was to spend as much time with his family as he possible and make some memories that will last a lifetime. Sadly, Aaron lost his battle on April 26th. Without any sort of life insurance his family is in need of help. Please join us and show your support for his family. Who We Are

Bikers for Beth is an annual motorcycle ride and poker run started in 2009 by Cass and Shelly Bressette. The first ride was organized to help the family of Beth Hemenway, who had lost her battle with colon cancer only weeks before the ride was to take place. Beth was a caring, compassionate woman, who even during her own illness worked hard to help raise money for the new radiation center at Central Vermont Hospital in Berlin, VT. It was decided on the day of the first ride that this would be an annual memorial event to honor Beth's giving spirit.

Our Mission

Our mission has two parts. The first being to raise money to help and individual who has suffered financial hardship because of cancer. There is a new beneficiary chosen each year. The second part of our mission is to make this ride fun and safe for all involved. We strive to make our route appropriate for both the experienced rider as well as the beginner.

Our Event

We hold our event every year on the third Sunday in May. We begin and end at Gusto's in Barre,VT. After the ride we have a barbecue, silent auction, raffles and live music to be enjoyed by ANYONE. You don't have to go on the ride to participate in the after-ride events. Click below to see the details about the current ride.
